Winn-Dixie just hit the big 1-0-0, and instead of slowing down, they decided to show everyone they’re only getting started. To celebrate a century of grocery greatness, they rolled out a bold new rebrand designed to spark some serious “wow.” And as if that wasn’t enough, they topped it off by announcing a fresh partnership with Amazon, because why not make a legendary glow-up even more legendary?
Solution
With Pixis Drones, the brand turned Halloween night into a captivating aerial tribute. The sky filled with dynamic drone formations that highlighted some of Winn-Dixie’s most recognizable symbols and products. Each visual moment celebrated the company’s heritage and the communities that have supported it for a century while generating excitement for the future.
- 500 synchronized drones lit up the sky with iconic visuals, including:
- a towering "DUUUUVAL" that celebrated their Jacksonville Jaguars pride
- "The Beef People," a nod to Winn-Dixie's classic tagline
- Mark Martin's racecar that honored their longtime sponsorship
- their famous Chek Soda
Results
The show captivated audiences and made history as Jacksonville, Florida’s first-ever drone show, earning recognition from the Florida Times-Union newsletter and the Downtown Jacksonville website.
