NASCAR wanted to create buzz around the city of Los Angeles before its February return to the City of Angels for its unique Clash at the Coliseum race format. To get the town revved up, a special drone light show was held at the home of MLS LA Galaxy, BMO Stadium in downtown LA. Fans in attendance that night were there to see world-class soccer between Mexico and Colombia.

After the game, the drone light show took to the skies and mesmerized the crowd with an incredible display that featured NASCAR imagery, racing animations, and even a huge soccer ball. It was a rare opportunity for a regional brand like NASCAR to be able to reach an entrenched Latino market in LA that would likely not have the stock car racing company’s name in their minds.
