To celebrate its 75th anniversary and the Fourth of July, Rainbow City, Alabama lit up the night sky with a breathtaking 300-drone light show—a one-of-a-kind experience that honored the city’s past, present, and future. Held in place of traditional fireworks, this all-drone performance captivated hundreds and redefined what a community celebration can be.

A Patriotic Celebration in the Sky

The show featured dynamic aerial animations honoring the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, each formation evoking pride and gratitude from the audience. These tributes were seamlessly interwoven with symbols of Rainbow City’s identity, including:

• A bold, glowing “75” marking the city’s diamond anniversary

• The state of Alabama with Rainbow City pinpointed

• The city’s logo featuring an anniversary diamond

• Military emblems rendered in precise drone choreography
