The dazzling drone light show that took place in the skies above St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on November 29, 2023, was a chance to brighten the holiday season for some very special guests–and it was broadcast live during the Christmas In Rockefeller Center special on NBC.

For over 25 years, Kay Jewelers and its parent company, Signet Jewelers, have been raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—providing hope and medical help for children and their families bravely facing serious health challenges. The celebration marked a milestone for the tireless charitable work of Signet and Kay—who raised more than $100 million during that period. They also announced a pledge to raise another $100 million moving forward.

It was a magical night on behalf of an incredible cause - and the perfect setting for a captivating drone light show. 

On this crisp Winter evening in Memphis, at 262 Danny Thomas Place, those in attendance were filled with awe and wonder as they temporarily interrupted their search for Santa and his sleigh to gaze up at a remarkable show featuring some of the most colorful and creative holiday drone formations ever produced.  

The 500-drone show featured traditional, beloved holiday imagery, Kay mascot Harvey the Dog, and perhaps most notably, the patient artwork that was lovingly recreated in the sky using drones - representing a seamless combination of creativity and technology that filled everyone in the crowd with a sense of wonder.

It was a chance for the families present to get out and enjoy the season—and Pixis was proud to be able to deliver this moment of joy to them.
