Taking inspiration from both the vibrant promotional art provided to us and from the gorgeous Indian Wells setting, our creative team sought to breathe life into these designs for the 2023 BNP Paribas Open drone show in Indian Wells, California.

350 drones were used to bring those designs from the page and put them in the sky, including spinning tennis rackets, players locked in a tight match, rows of palm trees, and the sun rising over the mountains.

Inspired by tropical colors of the tournament’s campaign and scenes of the California landscape, the 2023 BNP Paribas Open drone show took a captivated audience through scenic palm-lined paths and iconic tennis courts.

Our team at Pixis Drones illuminated the night sky over Tennis Paradise. Bold shapes and dynamic, colorful animations brought new life to the sport in a 350-drone light show, featuring tennis symbols and messages specific to the BNP Paribas Open.

Making headlines by The Independent and Yahoo! News, the 2023 BNP Paribas Open drone show was both internationally recognized and celebrated by our friends at Indian Wells Tennis Garden for drawing in a record-breaking number of attendees to the match.
